The Nurse Who Went Above and Beyond

Can you imagine inviting someone who you met just three days ago to move into your house with you?  That’s exactly what nurse Lori Wood of Atlanta, GA. did for Jonathan, a homeless patient of hers in need of help. Jonathan needed a heart transplant, but but did not qualify for it because he had no one to care for him in recovery following the surgery. So, nurse Lori stepped in to adopt Jonathan and to care for him after the surgery, saving Jonathan’s life, and transforming both their hearts.

We’ve all been bullied or made fun of at some point in our lives, and it’s not a good feeling is it?  It’s especially difficult to be friendly and kind to someone who has bullied us, or someone else we care about.  But today we’re going to take a look at a dad in Texas named Aubrey Fontenot, who challenged his own negative feelings about his son’s bully by reaching out to help the bully instead of being angry with him… and the results were life changing for everybody.

David Aguilar is a 19 year old teenager from a small country in Europe named Andorra that is in between Spain and France.  David was born without a forearm and says that, “As a child I was very nervous to be in front of other guys, because I was different, but that didn’t stop me [from] believing in my dreams.” And that dream?
